A significant but often unknown part of workplace dynamics is the mental load that women carry. This load includes the unseen weight of managing many tasks and responsibilities along with emotional labor at work and home. Studies show that women bear most of this load, affecting their well-being, productivity, and chances for career growth.
In this session, we'll look into the many aspects of mental load, explaining where it comes from and how it shows up. We'll talk about the societal, cultural, and organizational factors that perpetuate this imbalance, leading to unequal experiences and outcomes in the workplace.
