Course Description

Offshore outsourcing enables tax practices to prepare more 1040 returns at a reasonable price without adding staff. However, the anxiety of 7216 client consent prevents many firms from seeking third-party help. This webinar provides practical tips on how to navigate the outsourcing conversation with your clients and explains why 7216 consent shouldn’t deter you from getting busy season relief.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define Section 7216 and why it’s important

  • List which types of tax services require 7216 consent and which don’t

  • Identify best practices for communicating outsourced services to clients and maximizing approval

  • Determine how outsourcing helps resolve staffing shortages and workload compression

  • Give examples from a SurePrep customer about their 7216 consent procedure
