Olena Ruth is a tax attorney with years of experience in tax controversy.  Her solo law practice, Ruth Tax Law, serves individuals and small and mid-size businesses across the United States and internationally. She is passionate about her job and believes any problem can be solved with patience and determination.

Olena is a chair and pro bono attorney of the Tax Section Colorado Bar Association, a board member of the nonprofit organization, TaxForward, and a member of the American Bar Association. Olena’s professional career began as a corporate attorney for a local boutique law firm in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2001.  She continued her career in the United States after obtaining J.D. with Tax Emphasis from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2010 and LLM in Taxation degree from the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program in 2011.  Olena spends her free time helping pro bono clients, training for long-distance triathlons, hiking, skiing, and walking her Doberman Rae.
