In this webinar, Peter Myers, partner at Fox Rothschild LLP in San Francisco, will review the rules for qualifying as an expert witness to testify in a trial. Peter will discuss the difference between a consulting "expert"—one whose testimony is not sought but assists counsel in developing the attorney's work product—and a typical testifying expert. Peter will outline the common areas of expert testimony sought from CPAs and explain how to lay the proper foundation, prepare an expert report, and prepare for deposition and cross-examination.
